Avalon Appoints Anthony Quartaro as Chief Financial Officer

Anthony QuartaroAvalon is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Quartaro as our chief financial officer (CFO). With over 17 years of experience in finance and accounting, including over a decade of leadership at Sutherland and a strong background in both private and public accounting, Anthony will play a key role in driving our financial strategy and operational growth. 

Anthony will leverage his extensive expertise in controllership, risk assurance, audit compliance, M&A closure, and financial modeling to further strengthen Avalon’s financial framework and continue our growth trajectory. His deep experience in commercial banking, debt refinancing, private equity, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations will support our commitment to enhancing financial performance.

Before joining Avalon, Anthony spent 12 years at Sutherland, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s financial operations. He drove key initiatives in technology investments aimed at improving operational growth and financial insights and consistently delivered strong ROI by aligning the company’s financial strategy with its overall business objectives. Additionally, Anthony spent five years at PwC, specializing in assurance and audit practices for both public and private companies. 

Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John Fisher University and is a certified public accountant (CPA) in the state of New York. He resides in Rochester, NY with his wife, Kayla, and their three young children.
